Solved Geometric Center Autodesk Community Problems strange occurences with the geometric snap function. when drawn a square far away from the ucs the geometrical center is way of, even when switching to a ucs nearby. with a new square (copied or drawn new) positioned nearby the ucs, the problem is gone. see attachment, same squares different geometrical centers. Yes, i know it will work if one turns on the object snap (f3 among other options). however, i nornally use the object snap while in a command by pressing 'shift right click' at the same time which shows a list of object snaps. the geometric centre option is not on there (although i thought it once was for autocad map??).
Solved Geometric Center Autodesk Community Yes, i know that origin in 3d modelling is 0,0 , but i meant " geometric center" which is the center of any regular or irregular geometry shapes. 04 01 2022 04:57 pm. thanks for that, it will help me in 3d drawings, but the thing i am looking for is finding the geometry center in 2d drawings. Antivirus conflicts. the antivirus malware software is interfering with software functionality causing the solver to fail. add exceptions to resolve. check the solution from the following link. configure antivirus and firewall for remote solving of autodesk cfd. The geometric center snap this object snap option lets you snap to the geometric center, which is also called the centroid of drawings. to use this object snap, make sure it is active in the object snap menu and then make a closed drawing made with a single curve, such as a polyline or spline. Extremely long time of model meshing followed by "incoherent mesh on edges" warning while model calculation in rsa. iterative adjustment of the fe mesh option, activated in tools > job preferences > meshing, for not preciselly defined shell model geometry. example of not preciselly defined model geometry. panel corners 1,2,3 should be defined in the same position. . correct model geometry.
