Nutella Maple Syrup Banana Bread She Who Bakes Using a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together butter and sugar until fluffy, 3 4 minutes. add ⅓ cup maple syrup and beat for one more minute. scrape down the sides and the bottom of the bowl as needed. on medium speed, beat in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Use a knife to swirl the nutella into the batter. pour the rest of the batter into the pan. dollop the remaining nutella over the top of the batter and swirl into the batter the same way as above. bake for about 50 minutes until a cake tester or toothpick comes out with moist crumbs remaining. *top tip* if you don’t have any super ripe bananas but the urge to bake strikes (which, to be fair, can happen at any time for me.) put your bananas on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper and bake at 140c for 30 minutes until they are black and shiny. leave to cool completely before using.
