Happy 2 month anniversary. exactly 2 months ago – once and for all – i found my why and transformed, literally overnight, into a morning person. ☀️. to be fair, this personal development has taken years and countless failures and rebounds, but as i described in this post, i did have an immediate transformation that sealed the deal for this morning routine once and for all. Routine. as far as a routine, i’d love to get to the office two hours early to get a jump on the day or write ten pages of my next novel before 7 a.m. or enjoy my morning cup of coffee while sitting quietly on the deck, watching the sun emerge and thinking about how i want my day — and my life — to unfold. On the days i wake up at 7:30am and complete my daily morning routine, i am remarkably more productive than on the days i don’t when i skip my routine, i aimlessly wander around in a bleary eyed fog with just enough energy to sip my smoothie and scroll through my facebook news feed.
