[info] looking for ntfs efi loader [fail] could not locate '\efi\boot\bootia32.efi': [14] not found. press any key to exit. after pressing any button, it will continue booting as it should and there are no further problems with the device. it will work as good as the other ones where this message appears. what is causing this message to appear?.
Fail Could Not Locate Efi Boot Bootx64 Efi 14 Not о Hi there, i have installed windows 10 pro on a ssd nvme m.2 and i have used it for few weeks without any problem(it is a win to go with an adapter for usb). after an windows update i got this error: ,,could not locate efi boot bootx64.efi'' and cannot use it anymore. i want to mention that the secure boot is disabled. Tried disabling "secure boot", didn't work same message "could not locate 'efi\boot\bootx64.efi': [14] not found appeared. i tried updating the bios of the motherboard to the latest version, still didn't work. same message still appear. any clue to what has happened and how i could deal with the situation. The log does not state your reported message of uefi:ntfs "could not locate '\efi\boot\bootx64.efi': [14] not found". can you re run then press the log button in rufus (next to the start button) to grab a log with the fail.

For the record, the \efi\boot\bootx64.efi uefi:ntfs complains about is not the one you find on the second non ntfs partition (which is the actual uefi:ntfs bootloader and therefore is obviously always present) but the one that should reside on the ntfs partition itself, which, if you created a blan uefi:ntfs drive, you need to add yourself. Create part primary. select part 1. format fs=fat32 quick. assign. active. exit (to exit diskpart) on win 10, mount the iso file and copy all files and folders to the usb drive. windows can be installed in two ways: legacy mbr or uefi gpt. to install as legacy mbr you must boot the installation drive as legacy.
