I am running windows 8pro and cannot enter my bios uefi while my evga geforce gtx660 sc 2gb gddr5 is installed. my mobo also beeps 6 times at boot with gtx installed, pauses and then boots. if i remove it and start with the board that came with, no problem. if i disable uefi and revert to legacy my os will not load. Gpu – asus geforce gtx 660 ti directcu ii 2gb oc $349 or gpu2 – asus radeon hd7950 directcu ii top 3gb $359 hdd – seagate 2tb $100. total: $1185 (with a gpu at ~$350) if the price is a bit high it may be worth looking to drop the gpu to maybe an asus radeon hd7850 directcu ii 2gb v2 which will drop the price to close to $1k. Geforce gtx titan x, geforce gtx 980 ti, geforce gtx 980, geforce gtx 970, geforce gtx 960, geforce gtx 950 searching the 'net for "video tdr failure" returns. gpu: gf104 @ 675mhz. 0 port, 2 x hdmi, 1x displayport oculus ready: certified by oculus for easy out of the box setup with rift headset. 0 and anthem. quadro p4000.
