I need a diagram that shows the flow of the coolant through a 4.6 anyone got one? thanks in advance! basically, the water pump pushes water into the water jacket at the front of the motor, it travels down around the cylinders to the back of the motor, then up the back into the heads, and then to the front where it comes out the heads and goes. Hard to tell by that picture, i remember the 5.4 had an issue where the heater hose connected to the core was right above the #4 coil and leak would cause it to short out. i'd be looking for a loose hose clamp as already mentioned. went through a few coils due to the heater hose leaking at the core.
